Organizasyon 2009 yılında Kolombiya Futbol Federasyonu, organizasyon içi 150 milyar COP (75 milyon ABD Doları) bütçe ayırdığını açıklamıştır. 30 Eylül 2009 tarihinde, FIFA ve Kolombiya başkanları organizasyon logosunu tanıtmışlardır.
