Tarihe Bin Canlı Tanık, Tarih Vakfı tarafından gerçekleştirilen sözlü tarih projesi. Tarihe Bin Canlı Tanık kapsamında, 70 yaş üzeri 1000 kişi ile sözlü tarih çalışması yapılmıştır.

Tarihe 1000 Canlı Tanık projesi ile, toplumun farklı kesimlerinden, kültürel gruplarından ve sektörlerinden belli sayıda kişinin anı ve tanıklıklarının yer alacağı ulusal bir sözlü tarih arşivinin oluşumu amaçlanmıştır.

Proje kapsamında görüşme yapılan ana toplumsal gruplar şöyledir;

Meslekler: Profesyonel meslekler (doktorlar, avukatlar, vb.), tarımda çalışanlar, işçiler, evde çalışanlar, vb.
Sektörler: Ulaşım, gıda, otomotiv, enerji, dayanıklı tüketim (beyaz eşya), tekstil, hizmet, iletişim, bilişim, inşaat, reklam, turizm, vb.
Cemaatler ve Göçmen Gruplar : Cemaatler (Rum, Musevi, Ermeni, Süryani), Göçmen Gruplar (Balkan, Kafkas, Kırım, vb.)
Farklı Sosyal Hareketlerin Öncüleri : Kadın hareketi, çevre hareketi, işçi hareketi, sivil toplum hareketi, vb.
